Broadband Revolution 2: The Media World of Speedies (June 2001)

Coleman Insights and Arbitron delivered important insights into how broadband access to the Internet is affecting media usage habits with the release of the first Broadband Revolution study in September 2000.  In this follow-up study, originally presented at the Streaming Media West convention in June 2001, the focus was on "speedies," those with broadband access to the Internet at home, work or school.  Among the key findings of Broadband Revolution 2: The Media World of Speedies was that despite the robust growth of residential broadband access, other segments of the broadband marketplace may have a greater role in the success of media companies following broadband strategies.
